 Staying really busy - been doing a lot of member visits and had many referrals given to us.  The other day we were trying to follow up on a referral and we couldn't find the resident that lived at the address given to us.  It was  an apartment building that only residents could enter.  Another resident let us in and was super nice to us but he only spoke Arabic so we struggled to communicate.  We had fun trying for a little while using google translate and using a funny game of charades. Sometimes we just knock on doors but we have had a few crazy experiences where we found a drunk or drugged up person who answers, and some want us to come in  and we struggle to get away, as they insist we come into their home.   Others make no sense and are angry.  We have had a couple of referrals from online and we are excited to be teaching  an elderly lady who has come to church a couple of times.  When we challenged her to say her prayers she said that she did say her prayers and during the night she had dreams of several bible stories, and felt our church was good.  We have another sister friend who is coming to church but only her daughter will come, we have tried to teach her husband and other children but she is only one in the family committed.  We had a special encounter when we stoped at a door and a man come to answer.  He said he had been praying about the truth and that he had been just praying before we had come to the door, and so he felt his prayer had been answered.  We have not been back to teach him again but have an appointment, and we  hope he will continue to feel like we are the answer to his prayer.  Enjoy Elder Gallicher, he is very outgoing and not afraid to talk to people.  I think his German is much better than mine and so he does a lot of the lessons but I am doing better- Swiss German a bit of a challenge. The members are super good to us, and nice to be back to church.  Members have to have proof of Covid vaccine or show a negative test that has been done in the last 24 hours before they can come to church.

Stuttgart Germany - Visit from Elder David A. Bednar - September 13,2021

 We had a special devotional with Elder Bednar and his wife Sister Susan Bednar and Elder Carl Cook of the presidency of the seventy and his wife sister Lynette Cook.  Our whole mission got together for the special conference.
